Think you can't wear yellow? Think again! From mellow yellow to banana yellow and from mustard yellow to chartreuse, the spring/summer2017 runway, ran the gamut of this sunshine shade. There's a shade of this cheery hue that will work for you, whatever your skin tone.
Style tip: If you don't fancy wearing yellow head to toe. Pair neutrals such as black or white to ground the look (as above). OR if you do fancy it but it's your first time, try mixing it up with a floral print and yellow base.

Seriously who doesn't love Jane Birkin? The style icon's 70's aesthetic of classic outfits is one that fits into every woman's wardrobe. And the best part is she always looks cool AND comfortable.
See below for 3 Ways to Dress like Jane Birkin on Vacation:
Outfit 1. White Eyelet Dress + Denim + Basket Tote
White cotton plays a huge role in Jane Birkin's wardrobe and a denim piece is always close behind. So whether it's a white dress or a white eyelet top paired with wide leg jeans, this is your Jane B 'Get the look' 101. It's also the perfect outfit to take you from breakfast to sight seeing to evening drinks. And of course don't forget you Birkin Basket Tote!
Outfit 2. Peasant Top + Denim Shorts + Straw Hat
A super easy look to throw together, and also explains why Jane B always looks so comfortable. Add a full skirt and wedges for evenings.
Outfit 3. Polka Dot Dress + Basket Bag + Red Espadrilles
This polka dot wrap dress works for almost every body shape. I love the idea of wearing your bikini underneath ('Birkin' white of course) so you're ready for a quick dip in the pool! Add red espadrilles and a basket bag for extra Birkin style points.

I like to keep simple and chic outfits in mind for those days when I have 5 minutes to spare (always) and literally all thought has left my brain. It's no different on vacation. Outfits need to be basic and versatile so you can spend more time worrying when it's ok to have a cocktail.
The next time you only have 5 mins these 3 looks that will get you out of the house (or hotel) without trying too hard.
Outfit 1. Gingham + Wide leg Jeans + Strawbag + Mules
Outfit 2. Peasant blouse + High waisted jeans + Hooped earrings + Cross body bag + Ankle boots
I do love a peasant blouse - they seriously never go out of style, that's why I recommend investing in a good one. The Ulla Johnson one below is perfect for wearing now and later when spring finally arrives.
Outfit 3. White Ruffle Blouse + Black Trousers + Statement Earrings + Pointy Pump
Such an easy-no need to use your brain outfit to pull together. For extra style points opt for a sculptural white blouse.

Jamaica: The very name conjures up images of a "no worries" existance, a laid-back place of Caribbean beaches and rum shacks; Jamaica has all that and more. On a recent trip with BRIDES for June/July issue (out now!), I was lucky enough to stay at the wonderful Tryall Club : An exclusive 2200 acre Jamaican retreat with luxurious private villas. Heaven.
Here's a look at some of my favourite images from the shoot. Shot by Tom Schirmacher. Hair by Eric Gabriel. Make-up by Charlotte Day. Production by Liz Brown and styled by me.

Yes its true, florals are trending for spring. And in the words of Miranda Priestly, it's not "groundbreaking" but in all seriousness this season's florals felt fresh and deliciously feminine with their tiered skirts, ruffled jumpsuits and voluminous sleeves. But with spring a little way off, (temperatures plummeted in NYC today) the question is how to wear them now?
Check out my 3 ways to Wear Florals Now and Later
Outfit 1. The Floral Dress
Wear Now: Whether your dress is long or short the same rules apply, you need to toughen up those feminine florals for winter. A moto jacket and boots (don't forget your tights) are the perfect pieces. You can also layer a turtleneck underneath, as I have above.
Wear Later: It's time to break out those cute Jane Birkin-esq basket bags and your favourite espadrilles. Hurrah!
Outfit 2. The Floral Blouse
Wear Now: A floral blouse, I believe, works best with any type of denim as it's good to add a little edge to the floaty top half. Your jeans can be any style: skinny or loose.
Wear Later: Stick with denim, and try a denim skirt (short or midi length) or even cut-offs.
n.b. Add a red lip for a dash of colour, for either look.
Outfit 3. The Floral Skirt
Wear Now: Dark based florals really will transition the seasons. To fully winterise the look, add a streamlined turtleneck and boot (ankle or knee high).
Wear Later: I love mixing prints and a graphic gingham (or stripe) works wonderfully with florals.
Google 'French girl chic' and you will find hundreds of photos of French women with one thing in common; They're all wearing denim. Because denim, like these french women, that we mere mortals are trying to emulate, is effortless and cool. So therefore when deciding what to pack before heading to the land of chic-dom it makes a lot of sense to base one's wardrobe around your favourite pair.
Style tip: Keep the items you pair with your denim jeans feminine but simple, such as a cute blouse or striped top. Add colour with accessories and obviously a red Chanel lip. Et Voila!
Khaki - a word that typically comes to mind when you think of middle aged men that wear their phones as accessories, but this season get ready to change your preconceived notion of this sturdy cloth color. It is trending! Every runway from JW Anderson to Sonia Rykiel debuted this twilled cotton albeit in a elevated polished way (no cell phones on hips here!). So get ready to jump on the khaki train and follow these tips to nail the look.
Easy feminine: For spring add a strappy sandal (high or low), statement earrings and a cute blouse in cotton - any fabric too delicate (lace or silk) won't compliment the pants.
Try a different silhouette: Don't feel like you have to stick to pants. Try a polished utilitarian jumpsuit with pared down chic accessories.
Khaki for now: Pair a chic wide leg with your favourite turtleneck and white sneakers for an easy weekend look
