It's Sunday night and that sinking feeling in your stomach takes hold - even if you love your job, you can still find it lurking there. The Sunday blues is officially an end to the wonderful freedom that the magical weekend delivered. If there's nothing even to worry about, I personally like to create something just to drive myself nuts. The secret to beating it? For me, I've found that yoga with a dollop of meditation might just be the answer. I've written about the wonders of Yoga with Adriene before here. But for those that missed it. in the comfort of your own home, in your special apartment-only sweatpants Adriene will bring you lightness and relief and it won't cost you a penny. Adriene is just so lovely (secretly I pretend she's my BFF) and speaks articulately to every level of yoga bunny, flexible or not. I'm now officially hooked. My personal recommendation for evening anxiety is Yoga to Calm Your Nerves but Yoga for Anxiety and Stress and Yoga for When You're in a Bad Mood are fantastic too. Adriene poignantly reminds you "That you are not alone" which has quite an amazing effect - trust me and try it. I also like to light a candle each time as it gets me in the yoga zone :) Namaste!
