Eleanor 'Elle' Strauss is a British-born, New York-based fashion director, stylist and consultant known for creative, upbeat and inspirational styling and editorial spreads.
Elle is currently the Fashion Director at Condé Nast BRIDES. Prior to this Elle held the title of Fashion & Style Director at Shopbop.
She began her career over fifteen years ago as fashion assistant at iconic London cult publication, The Face, before taking on the role of Fashion Editor at Company, the top selling, fashion and lifestyle magazine published by Hearst in the United Kingdom.
Upon arriving in New York City in 2007, Elle quickly established herself as a freelance stylist, working with high-profile celebrities, including Heidi Klum and Amanda Seyfried, and major brands such as Anthropologie, Sony, Adidas and PepsiCo, among others. This led to the esteemed role of Senior Fashion Editor at Condé Nast Lucky Magazine, which she held for 5 years.
Elle routinely collaborates with top photographers including Gregory Harris, Dan Martensen, Guy Aroch and Emma Tempest. She also has close relationships with top designers and publicists in New York City, London, Paris and Milan.
Elle’s easygoing attitude and articulate critiques have landed her in front of the camera, as well as off: she’s a sought-after television panelist, having appeared on the judging panels of Bravo's Launch My Line and Make Me a Supermodel.
Elle currently resides in Brooklyn with her husband, photographer James Dimmock, and their two daughters Honor and Imogen.
